MISS MARGEE’S TERRIFIC TODDLERS
Enjoy a weekly play date without the hustle and hassle! Parents and children enjoy spending quality time together in this interactive pre-school class, participating in free play, crafts, group activities, and music and motion. Enjoy organized play and making new friends. An adult must attend class with child. Spaces are limited.

MISS MARGEE’S PRE-SCHOOL PALS
Parent & Child Ages 3 1/2– 5
With over 30 years of experience, Miss Margee brings her love for teaching children into the class. Stimulate your child's natural curiosity for learning with exciting alphabet, phonics, math and science activities. With a focus on fun, each class is designed to meet the developmental needs of preschoolers. An adult must attend with your child.

MISS MARGEE’S FAMILY FUN Parent & Child Ages 1-5
Parents, enjoy a fun interactive class with your children. A great way to attend a toddler class if you have more than one pre-K child. Class has the similar format to Terrific Toddlers (see complete description). Each child must be registered separately. Infants in carriers are free, but please note on registration if you will be bringing a child in a carrier.

This parent and child class follows the same format as Terrific Toddlers with an emphasis on letters, name recognition, socialization, following directions, fine motor sills and helps to prepare children for preschool classes.

SUMMER DANCE CAMP
Boys & Girls Ages 3-4 Min: 4 Max: 8
Welcome to our annual summer dance camp! Our week will be filled with fun, themes and dancing! Dancers will learn basic stretch and creative movement, along with ballet and tap combinations. We will also have a parade to close each class. This is a great introduction to dance for all 3-4 year olds!

SAFETY TOWN
Children Ages 4-6
How well does your child know the basics of safety? This program introduces kids to the correct use of community safety services through interaction. Real life situations will be simulated in a setting geared for children. Involvement from our local police, fire and other safety personnel stress the importance of following the rules to insure the participant’s safety. Topics include: Police, Bicycle, Bus and Fire safety. Participants will receive a program T-shirt, daily snack and will be a part of the Safety Town graduation. Daily schedule will be provided prior to camp. Register early, space is limited!

KIDS ONLY GARAGE SALE

Attention Kids: Sell your toys and games to other kids at this Kids Only Garage Sale! Please price your items and check to make sure everything is neat, clean and in working condition before setting up. Bring blankets to spread out and cover your 8’x4’ floor space. Set-up is from 8:00 am– 9:00 am to spread out your blanket and display your items. The sale will be from 9:00 am– 11:00 am. Clean up will be from 11:00 am– 12:00 pm. Kids of all ages may participate but parental supervision is needed for kids 12 & under. No admission will be charged to buyers. *No household items or clothing.

BABYSITTER TRAINING
Children Ages 11 & Over
Taught by Melissa Castonia, Certified Teacher. Learn all of the skills that you need to start your own babysitting business-basics like meeting the family, setting appointments, age appropriate activities and safety instruction. Handouts are included. Certificate presented upon completion of the workshop. Training follows the American Red Cross Curriculum.
Optional Babysitting Training Handbook with DVD available for onsite purchase. $15, payable to Oxford Township Parks & Recreation.

The following horseback riding classes & camps are taught by Times Square Riding Academy,4835 Oakwood Rd., Ortonville
HORSEBACK RIDING LESSONS
Children Ages 7 & Up Min: 3 Max: 5
A 1 1/2 hour class consisting of horse riding instruction, basic grooming, riding and horse care. Riders are required to wear long pants and hard sole shoes. (No tennis shoes) Register early to guarantee a fun and rewarding experience. Helmets are available at the academy and are included in the cost of the lesson.

HORSEBACK RIDING SUMMER CAMPS

Enjoy two hours of riding daily, bathing, grooming, and feeding as well as fun crafts and games on and off horseback. Bring sack lunch. All participants must wear long pants and hard sole shoes while on horseback.
