 CLUB GOALS
The goal of the Oxford Soccer Club is to provide a quality soccer program at a competitive price, with trained and dedicated coaches and played on premier fields.
 

 TEAM SELECTION
Players will be select on the basis of technical skill, effort, teamwork, attitude, knowledge of the game and sportsmanship.
 

 COACHES 
OSC coaches are certified thru the United States Soccer Federation with a minimum of an “E” level coaching certificate. Coaching courses are offered by the Michigan State Youth Soccer Association and each coach participates by attending, participating and passing testing to qualify for various levels of certificates.

 PRACTICE, TRAINING AND GAMES
Fall practices will begin in late July or early August, winter training will begin in January and spring practices will begin in March.  The fall and spring seasons will consist of ten games, five home and five away.  The winter season will vary by age group but will consist of at least eight games.  There is a team camp August 6th through 8th.  All home games will be played at Seymour Lake Township Park.

  WHAT DOES IT COST?   
The cost is estimated at $500 for U8 players, $800 for U 9 through U14 for the entire year and $250 for U15 and above for one season. This cost includes administration, uniforms, referee fees, registration, winter indoor games and training, summer camp, and 1 tournament in the fall.

 

Oxford Township Parks and Recreation hosts a series of coaching and referee clinics, as well as the ODP 101 program throughout the year, through the Michigan State Youth Soccer Assosciation.  Please vist their website at  www.michiganyouthsoccer.org for more information and exact times and dates of these clinics and programs.  Any questions regarding the OSC program may be sent to Dan Sullivan at, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The OSC tryout makeup for the 2013/14 season will be held at Seymour Lake Township Park on Monday, June 17.  All ages should report to the soccer fields at 6:30pm.
