LEARN TO KNIT
Adults 18 & Over          Min: 2   Max: 6
Learn the basics of knitting from casting on the first stitches to binding off to finish. Learn to correct mistakes and other techniques. Worsted weight (med), light colored yarn and single point needles appx. size is #10 is needed for first class. You will then be ready to begin your first project such as a scarf or stylish purse using 100% wool yarn that can be felted. Felting is the popular method of making the knitted piece dense by washing in hot water. Yarn and knitting needles are available for purchase including novelty yarn for embellishment. 10% Student Class Supply Discount.

DRAWING & MORE
Adults 18 & Over          Min: 2   Max: 6
Learn to draw what you see through observation and practice. Still Life and Portrait will be discussed. The emphasis will be on shading and proportion. Students will need #2B pencil and 11x14 drawing pad for first class. Paper should be 60# or better suitable for graphite drawing. UNDERSTANDING FRENCH WINES
Adults 21 & Over
Find out why France is synonymous with wine. Explore the diversity of the wine regions of this country and find out how these Old World vineyards compare to their New World counterparts. While doing so, you’ll learn the fundamental concepts of wine and vine, expand your wine vocabulary and hone your palate! Come sip and savor France in your wine glass.
