2010 MICROSOFT WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT—LEVEL I
Adult 18 & Over            Min: 5 Max: 15
Taught through Computer Assisted Resources

Learn by doing. Increase workplace skills. Grasp format, layout, font tools.  Work with tables, forms and mail-merge with Word 2010.  Develop worksheets, formulas, ranges, function, cell references and what-if-analysis with Excel 2010.  Create presentations, outlines, clip art, charts, sound effects, animation with PowerPoint 2010. Certificate awarded.  Prerequisite: Must be familiar with a computer. Bring USB drive to class. Three book fee:  $89 payable by  check to C.A.R. at first class.

Delve into the intermediate features and functions in Word.  Work with columns, mail merge, indexes, table of contents, footnotes, WordArt, templates and the style features. Using Excel tables, outlines, clip art, SmartArt, templates, manage and sort data, multiple worksheets.  With PowerPoint enhance presentation, navigation, add multimedia customize themes, slide master. Certificate Awarded.  PREREQUISITE: MUST BE FAMILIAR WITH MICROSOFT OFFICE 2007 OR 2010 basics.  Bring USB drive to class.

This course is a must for those wanting to keep their computer running smoothly.  Discover how to delete unnecessary files, check your hard disk for errors, speed up your computer, how and where to save files, renaming files and folders.  It will also help you find a lost file, use power protection, save to a USB drive, back up your work, virus protection, add and remove shortcuts as well as help finding out what error messages mean.  Instructor is an IT professional.  PREQUISITE: MUST HAVE COMPUTER EXPERIENCE.  Bring a USB drive.  The book is great for class and an exceptional reference after class. Book: $36 payable by check to C.A.R. at first class
